ZUKS Towing are great! They can pull lots of weight, and are a superb little Workhorse. On this page we hope to help you with your ZUKS Towing questions and queries.

Always remember that your Countries Laws may differ from Suzukis own recommendations. Make sure that Common sense, road conditions, and caution help guide you from overloading your ZUK or its' Trailer or Towed vehcile. Figures quoted are from Suzukis' own Vehicle Information Guide supplied with new Suzukis in the 1990's

The Suzuki SJ410 4 speed has a towing capacity of 1200 Kg with a braked Trailer. The later 5 speed has a Towing Capacity of only 1100 Kg with a braked Trailer.

The Suzuki Vitara 3 door 8 valve Carbuerretted model has a towing capacity of 1100 Kg with a braked Trailer.

The Suzuki Supercarry Van and Pick Up ( also Bedford Rascal) have a Towing capacity of up to 500 Kg with at minimum of 200 Kg on the vehicle load deck if using a Braked Trailer

Just to be absolutely clear - we have many friends and Club ZULU Members who own Land Rovers too. Just thought a little giggle on this page would make a few dry Suzuki Towing Statistics more interesting. Oh yes, do get a good Tow Bar and have it checked regularly, don't put too much weight on the hitch, make sure all your Trailer lights work properly each time you set off,  check wheel bearings on your Trailer are greased regularly, and that Tyres aren't perished or running the wrong pressures. We want all ZUK drivers to Tow safely and with confidence.
